We rescued Chai from a former sanctuary that was no longer providing care to the animals. The property was infested with rats and there was not enough food to go around. There was animals like Wednesday who have permanent damage and ongoing health issues due to poor nutrition, her bones did not develop correctly. Other animals died before they were rescued, however with a coallition of PNW all animals finally found placement and safety. Chai is the senior muscovy duck, she is best friends with Wednesday.
