When we heard about Linus, he was living in a small concrete stall that was full of excrement. He had no access to the outside, no water, nowhere to sleep and the nighttime temperatures were dipping to freezing. Linus moved to the sanctuary where he was neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and best of all met other pigs! Let me tell you, Linus loves other pigs. As soon as he arrived, that was the first thing he noticed, that there were other pigs here. He remained in quarantine for 30 days but could see, hear and smell everyone. The day couldn’t come soon enough when Linus finally met another pig. Linus now lives with Boris and gets to see many other pigs throughout the day who he talks to.
Linus is currently in Heartwood Haven’s care undergoing rehabilitation and may become available for adoption granted good health status in the future.
