Lucy (2)

Rescue Date

April 8, 2018

Lucy arrived at Heartwood Haven in May 2018 with her sister, Ethel. The pair was found abandoned on a property after the house was foreclosed on. The owners were arrested on drug related murder charges and the pigs were left behind to fend for themselves. Lucy arrived underweight and in poor health.

A nutritious diet helped Lucy regain her health. A daily routine and lots of pig friends helped Lucy feel comfortable enough to let her guard down. Lucy is beloved by many. Her nicknames include Lucy with the Best Ears and Spotted Pants Lucy.
