Heartwood Haven Mia before

Rescue Date

August 9, 2020

Mia arrived in August 2020. She had suffered extreme neglect and trauma. Her owner was arrested for murder and had to be extracted with a SWAT team. Mia arrived at Heartwood Haven weighing only 35lbs. She was emaciated and dehydrated and had lost her desire to live. Mia has only minor damage from her past, just a limp on her leg. She is now healthy and best friends with Cooper, Benji, Otis and Arlo. In fact, she helped to raise the boys and show them all her pig ways. The boys have outgrown her several times over, but the family remains tightly knit. Mia’s best friend is Cooper.
