Heartwood Haven

Dear Animal Lover:

Thank you for supporting “Hearts and Hooves” Dinner and Auction Gala, Heartwood Haven Animal Sanctuary’s premier annual fundraiser benefiting both the animals we rescue as well as our community.  This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your client base. This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at STAR Center in Tacoma from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.  This special event will include dinner, drinks, and both a silent and live auction.

Our Gala is our most publicized and prolific annual event.  It is our primary means of generating necessary financial support to further our mission of not simply saving lives, but also educating the public on how our efforts ultimately help combat climate change and other environmental crises.  We save hundreds of animals each year through our rescue, adoption, education, retention and pet food bank programs, and we hold events such as “open barns” to educate attendees on animal agriculture and related impacts. Most funds generated at this year’s Gala will provide food, medical care and shelter to rescued animals until we can place them in forever homes.  The balance of funds raised at this year’s Gala will be used to purchase a new-to-us vehicle to replace our current, high-mileage vehicle. The “new” vehicle is essential to our ability to continue to help animals and the community.

Hearts and Hooves Gala will be advertised on electronic media, in print, and on FM radio throughout the South Sound.  Based on past results, we expect over 100,000 views of this event via social media alone. Our title sponsor’s name will appear on a standard roadside billboard promoting the Gala.  Every sponsor’s logo and web link will be included on Heartwood Haven’s website, and in non-billboard event signage and the auction catalog. Sponsors will be recognized on our social media accounts, on FM radio and by our Gala emcee/auctioneer.

Please join us in alleviating animal suffering, nurturing kindness and promoting positive relationships between animals and people, as well as educating the public via our myriad of other events.  Any level of support you provide will be meaningful and have impact.

With Gratitude,

Kate Tsyrklevich
